Come along and take a ride on a real heritage steam train!
On Sunday the 10th of June, steam train rides will be operating between Paraparaumu and Paekakariki. The trip takes about 45 minutes and is family friendly – what a fun activity to spend your Sunday!
[ad]Two coal-fired steam locomotives will be used to haul the train. Ja1271 in one direction and Ab608 “Passchendaele” in the other.
Tickets cost $22 for an adult return, $11 for a child return. A family return ticket (2 adults 2 children) can also be purchased for $55. Tickets can be purchased from the Kapiti i-SITE or by calling 04 298 8195.
